Teaching Experience


2010-2012                   The Door~ A Center For Alternatives                               NY, NY

Developed and facilitated weekly photographic workshops for runaway and homeless youth and

LGBTQ youth to help them develop mastery in the genres of street, self-portraits, landscape,

fashion, portraiture and documentary and with both analog and digital media. Taught youth how to edit, matte, frame and curate their photograph work for 2011 exhibition at The Door.


2009-2010              Metropolitan Community Church of New York                    NY, NY

Developed and taught landscape, self-portraiture and street photography workshops for LGBTQ

homeless youth. Recipient of the Puffin Grant Award to develop a photography project based on

being transgender.


2005-2006                                Visions Services for the Blind                               NY, NY

Initiated and conducted “Painting With Light” photography, narrative sculpture, and art therapy

workshops for after school program for visually impaired teenagers.
